The Bummolo is a terracotta container used in Sicily to keep the water always fresh even during the summer.
The history and use of this majolica object called "BUMMULU MALANDRINO" in Sicilian dialect intrigues most of our customers.
The tradition of this object comes during the Arab domination in Sicily and was used to pour water, oil or wine.
Structured at the bottom with perforated cilidrinca base, it is turned upside down to be filled.
When the liquid enters the pourer it is trapped for a physical principle and then it can be poured freely according to your needs.
